G Fest
Alumni, Gonzaga parents past and present, and friends are invited to join us for this year's G Fest on Saturday, September 12th in the Collins Courtyard. Hosted by Gonzaga's Eagles' Wings, the evening will feature delicious food, cocktails, great company, and live music from the Hathway Band — all in support of the Geordan Harris Endowed Scholarship Fund. About Geordan
Geordan devoted his full energy to everything he did—whether it was as captain of Gonzaga’s wrestling team or volunteering for a cause important to him. After graduating from Gonzaga in 2003, Geordan went on to Clemson University. After college, he worked at local real estate developer the JBG Companies while earning a Masters in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also served on the Board of Directors of Access Youth, a local nonprofit.
After Geordan’s death in 2013, his family, friends, and colleagues established the Geordan Harris Memorial Fund to honor his spirit and passion. Awarded to a rising senior at Gonzaga who exhibits a sense of leadership and motivation to learn, the scholarship provides tuition assistance and for many years has provided a summer internship in the real estate development, construction, or legal fields.
