Dominik Pettey Purple White Hockey Game
Gonzaga Ice Hockey kicks off its season every year with the Dominik Pettey Purple White Game, an intra-squad game played in honor of friend and teammate Dominik Pettey ’15, who died in a car accident in 2014.
This year's game is on Friday, November 22 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex:

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Dom's death. Over those ten years, thousands of hockey fans and players have shown their support for the Pettey family and for the scholarship fund in Dom's name at Gonzaga -- which is now on the cusp of reaching $1 million.
