Coach Waller has been on Gonzaga’s sidelines since 1998 and took over as Head Varsity Coach in 2005. In the nearly two decades that have followed, his Eagles have:
Advanced to 17 WCAC Finals, capturing eleven league titles
Produced two historic undefeated campaigns in 2022, finishing 7th nationally, and again in 2024 with a 22-0-2 record, finishing 5th nationally and 1st in the Washington Post rankings both years.
Earned him Coach of the Year honors from The Washington Post (2007, 2019), WCAC (2015, 2017), and twice from the NFHS Mideast Region
Kept Gonzaga consistently in the United Soccer Coaches top ten (2006, 2012, 2022, 2024)
Under his guidance, eight players have been named Gatorade State Player of the Year, and fifteen have been selected to the first-team All-Met in The Washington Post. His varsity record sits at 299-93-52.
A standout at Castleton State College (VT), Scott earned two Academic All-American honors, was named a NESCA Senior All-Star, and made the All-Conference First Team three times. He lives in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood with his wife, Suzy, and their children: Kira (19), Charlie (17), and Naomi (13).
