Tuition and Financial Aid

At Gonzaga College High School, we are committed to ensuring that a Jesuit education is within reach for every qualified young man who seeks it, regardless of his family's financial situation. Our mission calls us to form "Young Men for and with Others," and we believe that financial considerations should not be a barrier to this transformative experience.

Need-Based Financial Aid

Each year, we offer more than $5 million in financial aid to 35 percent of our student body. Choosing Gonzaga is an investment in your son’s future. We are dedicated to partnering with you to make this investment possible. True to our Jesuit identity, financial aid at Gonzaga is not just about numbers; it’s about opportunity, access, and a commitment to shaping the lives of young men who will go on to make a difference in the world.

We encourage any family who thinks they may need assistance to apply for need-based financial aid. Financial aid applications for the 2025-2026 academic year will be submitted through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management. It is important to note that the deadline for incoming families is December 18, 2024. New families can access more detailed financial aid instructions through their Admissions Checklist. The updated deadline for returning families to apply for financial aid is January 13, 2025. As a reminder, you must submit a financial aid application each year to be considered for assistance. Returning families can access financial aid instructions through a tile on their parent resource board on Gonzaga's website.

Please know the single most important step in the financial aid process is to submit a completed application on time. For prospective families, it is important to submit this application at the same time as your son’s admission application. If you seek financial aid after your son has been accepted, please know financial aid funds have already been fully distributed.

For any questions regarding the financial aid account creation, application, or submission process, please contact Blackbaud Financial Aid Management directly at 800-360-8027 or financialaidsupport@blackbaud.school.

If you have any questions about the timeline, process, or awards, please contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at the school at 202-336-7101 or admissions@gonzaga.org.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Each year, Gonzaga recognizes applicants that we feel have the potential to make especially significant contributions to our community in the areas of academics or musical performance. All students who submit ninth-grade applications are considered for the following awards:
Gonzaga Presidential Scholarship: $20,000
$5,000 per year for four consecutive years
The top academic applicants are awarded an annual scholarship for each of their four years at Gonzaga. Families cannot apply for Presidential Scholarships. They are awarded by the Admissions Committee at the time of admission to incoming freshmen only.

Gonzaga Sousa Scholarship: $4,000
$1,000 per year for four consecutive years
The top ten music applicants from the incoming freshman class are awarded an annual scholarship for each of their four years at Gonzaga. After acceptance to the freshman class, students are invited to audition with a faculty member from the Fine Arts Department for the Sousa Scholarship. Applications for this scholarship are provided after freshman registration.
