Swim & Dive Wins Jesuit Invitational, Stays Undefeated

Swim & Dive is off to another great start and earned a resounding win over the largest field in the history of the Jesuit Invitational on November 22. The Eagles faced Georgetown Prep, Loyola Blakefield, Fordham Prep (NY), and St. Joe’s Prep (PA). The meet was held at Georgetown Prep, and Gonzaga came out on top winning by 250 points over second place Loyola. Head coach Brian Kilner ’16 said, “we 
relied on overwhelming team depth and numerous personal-best swims and dives to earn the victory.”

This week, the team defeated Flint Hill and St. Andrew’s to improve to 5-0 on the season. In the wins, Henry Burger '27 was swimmer of the meet for dropping 32 seconds in his 500 yd free, and Jake Hascall '26 was diver of the meet for improving his score on all 6 of his dives.
