Soccer Beats O'Connell, Jesuit Classic in WI Up Next

Gonzaga Soccer improved to 5-0 on the season on September 17 with their 4-0 win over O'Connell in the first WCAC game of the year. The Eagles led 1-0 at halftime on the strength of an Ivan Hughes goal. Early in the second half, Charlie Waller '27 scored on an amazing 30 blast and Braeden Meeker '25 executed a beautiful header to extend our lead. The final goal of the night was put in by Nico McKee '25 on a great first touch after a Gonzaga corner kick. Goalie Colin Crowe '25 recorded another shutout for the Eagles. This weekend, the Eagles are in Wisconsin for the annual Jesuit Soccer Classic which will be hosted by Marquette University High School this year. The team will face Regis on Friday, and Marquette on Saturday. Saturday's game will kickoff at 10am EST and will be streamed live here.
