Soccer Notches Wins Over GDS and PVI

On Tuesday, September 29, Gonzaga Soccer played Georgetown Day School on the road and defeated the Hoppers in a hard-fought 2-1 match. The Eagles got goals from Trevor Weiner ’27 and Andrew Wysocki ’27, while Zachary DelPizzo ’29 recorded a great assist and goalie Sam Smith ’27 made two clutch saves. Eamon Hammond ’29 made several key plays to settle possession in the midfield leading to the narrow victory.

On Thursday, Gonzaga hosted PVI in a WCAC matchup. After scoring two goals in the first four minutes of play, the team continued to dominate and secured a 12-0 win over the Panthers.
