Golf Opens 2024 Season

The annual match between our Gonzaga golfers and the lady golfers at the Academy of the Holy Cross, an all- girls Catholic school in Kensington, MD, took place this week. The match was held at the Northwest Golf Course in Silver Spring, MD, and both teams enjoyed great weather to sharpen their skills. “It’s fun to start off the season with a friendly match against the Lady Tartans,” said head Coach Mike Hanagan ‘08. “The course and the conditions were perfect and both teams posted some low scores.”  

Earlier in the week, the team defeated McNamara in the first match of the year, 9-0 at the University of Maryland Golf Course.
