Squash Beats The Heights, Earns More Wins over SSSAS
Squash was narrowly defeated by The Heights back in December in Potomac, MD, so the Eagles eagerly anticipated the clash with the Cavaliers on Tuesday, January 13. This time, the matches were held at the Capitol Hill Sport and Health, and Gonzaga came away with the 5-2 victory. Juniors Lucas Requeijo and Nick Zafiropulos, playing in the #1 and #2 spots, won both matches to start the day. Sophomore Gregor Bernhard swept his matches to help earn the victory.
Bernhard also led the way on Wednesday, January 14 against St. Stephen's St Agnes, as he was undefeated on that day, as well. Will Jones '28 won the final match of the day to earn a 6-6 tie with Saints.
