Crew Gets Head Start on National Day of Service
This Saturday, March 25, will be Gonzaga's National Day of Service.
In preparation, last Saturday, March 18, the crew team got to work. The Crew team did its own day of service by partnering up with the Anacostia Community Boathouse Association.
The team had a full day of service, cleaning up trash, pulling weeds, and working with Environmental Captain, Mary Ellsworth who helped educated the team on cleaning the Anacostia River.
We asked Head Coach, Tom Daley, his thoughts on the day, "It was a great day of brotherhood and sons with their parents living what they learn at Gonzaga; service, care and stewardship of the environment."
