Hockey Beats O'Connell to Advance to WCAC Championship
V1 Hockey finished the regular season 19-6-2 overall to earn the 2 seed in both WCAC and MAPHL playoffs. The Eagles celebrated seniors earlier this month as they were making that final push. Here's a nice tribute to the pregame ceremony honoring the Class of 2024 Hockey Eagles:
In the WCAC Semifinal against O'Connell on Wednesday, February 14, the team dominated from start to finish at Tucker Road Ice Rink. The Eagles beat the Knights 6-0. The Gonzaga goals were scored by Hunter Ogelsby '24, Kyle Snocker '24, Roman Villegas '25, Gavin Ogelsby '24, Ben Norton '24, and Matt Shay '25.
