A Winning Formula: The 5th Annual Gonzaga-WJA Science Fair
The fourth annual Gonzaga-Washington Jesuit Academy (WJA) Science Fair took place in the Arrupe Commons on Friday, February 21 with dozens of parents, faculty and staff in attendance. Led by Mr. Andrew Radford, the event is the culmination of months of preparation by students from both schools, who work together in pairs. Twenty-seven teams participated this year, showcasing projects on topics ranging from fire safety and AI to chemical reactions and biodegradable plastic.
Students presented their research before a panel of esteemed judges who hold MDs and PhDs and hail from Children’s National Hospital, Zero Point Five Therapeutics and Georgetown University. The following teams were judged the winners:
