Soccer Beats DCI, Faces Georgetown Prep Next

Varsity Soccer came away with a dominant 5-0 victory over DC International Thursday. Charlie Waller '27 scored the first two goals in the 12th minute and 22nd minutes. Early in the second half, Antoni Hughes '27 found the back of the net, while later in the half Bruno Paterno '28 scored on a header off of a great assist from Ronald Navarro '29. Paterno finished the scoring in the 75th minute with his second goal on the day. Goalie Sam Smith ’27 earned his third straight shutout while Neven Menachery '28, Xavier Castillo '27, and Trevor Weiner '27 turned in a strong performances on defense to help control possession throughout the game.
