Basketball Goes 5-2 Over Break, WCAC Play Up Next

Gonzaga Basketball went 5-2 over the Christmas Break. The team split two games in New Jersey to start the break. After falling to Roman Catholic, the Eagles bounced back with a close win over Malvern Prep on December 20. After Christmas, we played three games in New York City from December 28-30 and notched wins over Iona Prep, Christ the King, and South Shore. And before returning the school, Coach Urgo's squad dropped a close one to Bullis before getting a big win in the Hoop Dreams Classic over St. Joe's Prep on January 4. The Eagles fell to DeMatha earlier this week and are now 10-5 overall on the season. The team will host Archbishop Carroll on Friday, January 9 at 7:30pm in the Carmody Center. You can buy tickets online here. The Gonzaga Sports Broadcasting Club will stream the matchup here.
