Cross Country Has Strong Showing at McQuaid Invitational
Cross Country ran in two competitions last weekend -- the Skip Grant Invitational in Rockville, MD and the McQuaid Jesuit Invitational in Rochester, NY.
In the premier race at McQuaid Jesuit, the team came in seventh out of 30 schools in the three-mile race. Anthony Sarro ‘26 was Gonzaga's top finisher, coming in 7th in 15:09. Will Buckley ‘25 (18th, 15:23) and Kai Rock ‘26 (39th, 15:54) were also honored with “elite runner” status. Here are some great photos from the meet:
