"Good Morning Gonzaga!" -- Celebrating the History of WZAG

WZAG, Gonzaga’s daily on-campus news broadcast, has become one of the school’s most beloved traditions. What began as a club in the 1970s has evolved into a popular broadcast journalism course. And now homerooms across campus tune in every morning.

Click the play button below to watch a fun history of WZAG which aired during Gonzaga's Bicentennial Show in October 2021. Created by David Konschnik ‘94, the video includes interviews with alumni and current and former faculty sharing their memories of pivotal moments and hilarious skits during WZAG's history on Eye Street.

In this week’s Echo Ever Proudly Podcast, host Brian Egan ‘86 talks with the founder of WZAG, Chuck Lewis ‘77, as well as several faculty members and alumni who were instrumental in turning WZAG into what it is today. Click here to listen to the episode.
