Gonzaga defeated seven other Jesuit schools to win the Glavin Cup. "It was a fun opportunity to race at the McQuaid invitational, a meet that has been around for more than 40 years and has become one of the biggest competitions in the country," said Head Coach John Ausema. "This year over 6000 runners participated! Several of the Jesuit schools we competed against are ranked in their home states, and since this was our first time competing at the meet we were not sure what to expect. Our guys ran very competitively and I was thrilled with the result. Now we need to bring the trophy back next year so that we can defend the title!"

On Saturday, October 7, Cross Country will compete in a Maryland XC event in Cockeysville, Maryland. You can find the team's entire schedule here.

Hail Gonzaga!
